Rau 119 long is an angle seam closer for prefabricated, round SPM profiles, even at small radii. Its short 70 mm edge length is designed for round dormers. The 320 mm handle gives you good leverage, so you close the seam with less effort.
Closes round profiles where a machine can't
Small radii are hard to handle with a machine. With the 119 RGS, you close prefabricated, round SPM profiles by hand. The tool is most useful where a machine is too expensive or can't be used at all. You work your way along the curve and close the profile on site.
Short edge for round dormers
The edge length is 70 mm. The short edge lets the angle seam closer follow the curve instead of catching in the wrong place. It's built for round dormers, but works just as well on hard-to-reach areas of other dormers.
Tacks panels before machine seaming
You can also use the 119 RGS to tack long panels before running the seaming machine. Tacking holds the seam in place and stops the machine from jumping off during the run.
Choose the handle length for the job
The angle seam closer comes in two versions. The 119 RGS long has a 320 mm handle and weighs 1.0 kg. The longer handle gives more leverage and saves effort. If you often work in tight spots, there's also the 127 RGS short, with a 210 mm handle and a weight of 0.8 kg.
