• The Rau 111 AL Square-Seam Folder is a horizontal aluminium tool for closing angled standing seams by hand. It weighs just 1.1 kg, half as much as the classic steel version. It works on vertical, horizontal and angled seams.

  Half the weight of the classic

  Rau calls its lightweight aluminium construction LIGHTTOOL. The aluminium Square-Seam Folder weighs 50% less than the classic version. It is easy on your back and makes working on facades more comfortable.

  Close the seam without pressure marks

  You close the profile by hand, moving the tool gently forward. This avoids pressure marks at the transitions. The ergonomic handle layout makes the Square-Seam Folder easy to work with.

  For angled facades and long panels

  The Square-Seam Folder shows its full strength on sharply angled facades. You can also use it on longer vertical and horizontal panels.

  From pre-profiled sheet to closed seam

  The sheet is pre-profiled. You place the profiles inside each other so they form an angled standing seam. Then you close the seam with the Square-Seam Folder. The angled standing seam can be used from a roof pitch of 25°.
